The bride and groom arrive with their bridal party at The Eisenhower House in Newport

Laura and Ryan's Wedding at the Eisenhower House, Newport.

Laura and Ryan wanted to hold their wedding at a historical venue with breathtaking views of Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay. They chose The Eisenhower House at Fort Adams State Park and fulfilled their every desire.

After a touching ceremony at a local church, Laura and Ryan joined their guests on the back lawn of the Eisenhower House. Everyone enjoyed refreshments and lawn games, and when the sun was just right, the happy couple snuck away for a few more photos on the rolling lawn by the water.

Introductions Begin

Shortly after 6 pm, guests were invited to make their way under the tent in preparation for the formal introduction of the bridal party. As soon as we got the "go-ahead" from the wedding coordinator, we asked the guests to put their hands together as we started the formal introductions of the bridal party. Finally, Laura and Ryan made their way into the tent grandly as their guests stood and cheered. They immediately went into a beautifully choreographed first dance. Boston Premier prepared a special arrangement of their song, Crazy Love, by Van Morrison for that special moment.

Let's get this party started!

Immediately following their first dance, we invited all of the guests to join Laura and Ryan on the dance floor. An instant dance party began as The Boston Premier Band fired up an energetic playlist of popular dance music.

Formalities

Between the salad course and the main entree, we heard a heartfelt welcome speech from the bride's father. The best man and maid of honor followed up with their thoughtful toasts.

After dinner, Laura and Ryan performed a traditional cake-cutting ceremony and then took a moment to take a group photo with their classmates from Providence College. They also thanked their guests for joining them and sharing their special day. With the evening's formalities taken care of, we partied like crazy for the rest of the night.
