Christie and Jeremy’s Four Seasons Hotel Boston Wedding

Elegant details, live piano, and a dance floor packed before dinner

Before the main entrée reached the tables, Christie and Jeremy’s dance floor was already packed.

That says a lot about the people who came to celebrate them. Around 140 family members and friends gathered at Four Seasons Hotel Boston on Boylston Street, overlooking the Public Garden, for an evening filled with beautiful details and plenty of excitement.

Boston Premier provided a cocktail-hour pianist and our 9-piece reception band. We loved being part of a celebration that felt so elegant, so welcoming, and so ready for a party.

White flowers, candlelight, and classic Boston elegance

The reception room was beautiful before the first guest stepped onto the dance floor.

Tall arrangements of white hydrangeas and roses rose above the tables, balanced by lower floral arrangements and candles in glass cylinders. Gold chairs and gold-rimmed plates added warmth, while crystal chandeliers sparkled overhead. White draping framed the band, and a black-and-white dance floor gave the room a striking centerpiece.

Even the wedding cake carried that sense of thoughtful detail, with delicate white piping and a pair of swans on top.

Together, those touches created a setting that felt polished and inviting. And once the room filled with Christie and Jeremy’s favorite people, it became something even more special.

Live piano for cocktail hour

The evening’s music began with our cocktail pianist performing on a mini grand piano.

Solo piano was a lovely fit for this part of the celebration, adding warmth and atmosphere while leaving guests comfortable room to talk, enjoy a drink, and reconnect.

It also gave cocktail hour a character of its own. Later, our full 9-piece band would bring a much bigger sound to the reception, allowing the music to grow with the evening.

A packed dance floor before the entrée

Christie and Jeremy’s guests didn’t wait until after dinner to start dancing.

Before the main entrée was served, the floor was already filled with couples, family members, and friends celebrating together. The photos capture that feeling beautifully: guests of different generations sharing the floor, smiling at one another, and getting swept into the music.

We love seeing a reception open up this way. Those early opportunities to dance help everyone settle into the celebration and feel part of it.

It’s one reason we spend time helping couples plan the flow of their wedding reception. Making room for music throughout the evening gives you more opportunities to enjoy the people who came to celebrate with you.

Nine musicians and a room full of energy

Our 9-piece band brought powerful vocals, vibrant horns, and a driving rhythm section to the reception. And this crowd gave us plenty of energy in return.

One photo catches Christie dancing as guests surround her and our guitarist joins the action on the floor. Another shows the celebration in full swing, with colorful light sticks raised above the crowd.

These are the moments we remember as musicians: the connection between the band and the guests, the excitement of a room singing and dancing together, and a couple right in the middle of it all.

Christie and Jeremy’s celebration gave us plenty to smile about.
