On August 17th, The Boston Premier Band performed to a sold-out house at the historic Greenwich Odeum. Over 400 attendees gathered for this benefit to raise money for The Elizabeth Buffum Chase Center.
Boston Premier kicked off the musical portion of the evening with a hot number that got everyone on their feet. Many were even dancing in the aisles! We then had the privilege of backing up some amazing vocalists from around the region. The band finished off the set with a medley of hits from the 70s. The crowd loved it.
Christina Erne, meteorologist of WJAR-TV News' weekday morning and noon newscasts served as the Master of Ceremonies.
It was an amazing night of music and entertaining. This event not only generated awareness to the center's cause but also brought in much-needed support that will help provide immediate shelter and support services for women and children in crisis due to domestic violence.
Boston Premier was happy to lend our skills and talent to help make this night a total success. We're looking forward to the possibility of performing at this event again in 2020.
