Boston Premier is managed by Ceasar Cabral. Ceasar is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience performing weddings and corporate events throughout Massachusetts. With a reputation for excellence, the Boston Premier Band has performed at iconic venues such as Rose Cliff Mansion, OceanCliff Hotel, Belle Mer, Regatta Place, and Castle Hill. Ceasar takes great pride in his work managing one of the most successful Boston wedding bands in the area.

Boston Premier can provide DJ ceremony music to those couples who reserve the band for their reception. Nick, our pro DJ, offers a vast repertoire of classical, contemporary, and liturgical music. He has the knowledge and experience to create the feeling you envision and make it run seamlessly. Your special musical selections will be timed perfectly, and he’ll be there to make sure your guests will be able to hear every word as they enjoy your beautiful wedding ceremony.

For those couples who prefer a live musician, our pianist is also avialble.

Cocktail Hour Entertainment - We're Just Getting Warmed Up!

The cocktail hour is when you and your guests finally get to sip, munch, and mingle before the reception begins. Our musicians will be ready to set the mood for the fun evening ahead. Whether you’re having a solo musician or a trio of players performing at your cocktail hour, we’ll take great care in providing a tasteful blend of favorites that are played at a comfortable volume level so that conversations aren’t overpowered.

Newport weddings remain quite the rage for brides seeking a glorious experience for their wedding day. Beyond the gorgeous seaside venues that Newport offers, that ethereal experience comes together with the help of many talented wedding professionals who strive to make the occasion one to remember. Over the years, Boston Premier has had the pleasure and honor of performing many incredible Newport weddings at venues such as The Bohlin, The OceanCliff Hotel, The Castle Hill Inn, The Beach House, The Eisenhower House, Belle Mer, Regatta Place, Ochre Court, The Hotel Viking, and Rosecliff Mansion. We truly enjoy performing at these venues and being part of such incredible celebrations.

We love traveling down to Newport becuase the weddings there have a certain flair to them. There's a glamour and charm that couples from all over the world gravitate to. One of the most recent weddings we performed at was for Anna and Matthew, a wonderful couple from New Jersey that held their wedding at The OceanCliff Hotel. Anna and Matthew's wedding day was an incredible, exquisitely detailed celebration from start to finish.  Here are some details you've got to see!

The Start of a Wonderful Day!

On the morning of Anna and Matt's special day, Ceasar (band manager), Jonathan (guitarist), and Nick (sound engineer/DJ) met at The OceanCliff Hotel at 11:30 am with the band's equipment vehicle. We quickly unloaded the van and began setting up the band's PA system in the ballroom. The remaining band members arrived at 2 pm to finish setting up drums, keyboards, horns, etc. After all of our musicians and vocalists were fully set up and plugged in, the band performed a thorough sound check before any guests arrived. We then made our way outside to set up a microphone, speaker system, and DJ equipment for the ceremony.

A wedding ceremony on the back lawn of OceanCliff is an unforgettable experience, and the picturesque surroundings provided a stunning backdrop for their nuptials. Anna and Matthew exchanged their vows on a glorious August day under a beautifully adorned arbor. Our DJ started the ceremony by playing soft, elegant music as guests found their seats. He then played two memorable songs that Anna & Matt specifically requested. One of the songs, I get to love you instrumental by Brian Catuccio, was for the bridal party's entrance, and the second, Christina Perri - A Thousand Years (Piano/Cello Cover), was their choice for when Anna walked down the aisle by her father. At the conclusion of the ceremony, everyone stood and cheered as the newlyweds were officially announced as Mr. and Mrs. Delancy.

Newport Weddings Are Elegant Affairs!

The ballroom was absolutely stunning! The beautiful details around the room (flowers, table settings, and uplighting) were precisely planned and on point. Anna and Matt took great care in creating an elegant space that did not disappoint.

Let's Get This Party Started!

At 7 pm, Boston Premier began performing tasteful background music in the ballroom as guests filtered in from the cocktail hour area. Minutes later, everyone found their seats and eagerly awaited the bride and groom's grand entrance. As soon as we received the "go ahead" from the function manager, we asked the guests to stand and cheer as we formally introduced Anna and Matthew into the ballroom.

Anna and Matt decided to perform their first dance immediately following their grand entrance. Boston Premier prepared a beautiful arrangement and performed their song, Can't Help Falling In Love, for their special moment. Next, we wasted no time and ignited the dance party by playing "September" by Earth Wind and Fire. The dancing continued until the staff served the first course. It was then that we invited everyone back to their seats.

Formalities

While guests enjoyed their salad course, we heard a heartfelt welcome speech from the bride's father. The best man and maid of honor followed up with beautiful toasts of their own.

After dinner, the couple performed a traditional cake-cutting ceremony and then took a moment to thank their guests for joining them and sharing their special day.

Let's Pack The Dance Floor!

As the venue's house lights dimmed, our stage lighting came on and lit up the band brilliantly. It was a real treat watching Anna and Matthew surrounded by family and friends, dancing the night away, and having the time of their lives! Boston Premier provided a great mix of dance favorites ranging from Earth Wind and Fire, to The Jackson 5, to modern hits from Dua Lipa and Bruno Mars! It was clear that everyone was just so happy to be celebrating with this special couple. It was a fantastic, non-stop celebration in Newport as Boston Premier carried the rest of the evening with great energy and enthusiasm.
